Welcome to CatHealth.us, we hope that while you’re here you’ll be able to find information on the condition, disease, or healthy treatment of your cat. These beautiful animals deserve a happy, nutritious and loving environment.
Our cat health information is broken down into three primary categories; covering covering cat questions, cat problems and cat care. As a long time cat lover, I hope that we can help you take better care of your beloved pet.
You’ve got questions, I’m sure (which is probably how you found our website). Our more commonly asked questions pertain to cat adoption, finding or losing a cat, caring for your sick cat and choosing the best cat food. We’ll do our best to answer them, though we’re not veterinarians and don’t give medical advice so do take that into consideration when you’re doing your research.
We’re sorry to hear that you’re trying solve a problem with your cat, so we’ve put together a section just for you. We go in-depth on common behavioral problems, like fighting. We have information on health related issues as well; such as anemia, urinary infections, vomiting, worms, hair loss and more. We probably haven’t covered all the potential problems that could affect your cat, though we’ve tried.
Caring for your kitty cat might seem like a daunting responsibility, but it’s really quite easy. Aside from tender loving care, there may be some things you’re not quite sure of. Cats love catnip and toys, especially things they can climb on or paw at. Playing with an encouraging your kitten or cat to be active will also help to prevent obesity. Trimming your cat’s claws will help keep your hands safe, and your furniture too – though it’s probably not a good idea if it’s an outside cat. And, most importantly, don’t forget to spay or neuter your cat to prevent an unwanted pregnancy, and to help control the pet population.
Above all, remember that the most important gift you can give your cat is love. Raising a kitten isn’t much different than raising a child, they will crave your attention and love you eternally for it. We wish you both the best.
